The hospitals of the Blue Mountain Health System have established the following guidelines for patient visitors to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients.
Procedure:
- While there is no age limit on visitors to patients, limitations may be imposed in specific circumstances at the discretion of the medical or nursing staff. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- No more than two (2) visitors may visit a patient at a time.
- Appropriate dress is required. Visitors must wear shirts and footwear.
- Visitors should not come to the hospitals of the Blue Mountain Health System when suffering from cold/flu symptoms or throat infections.
- Family members may remain with patients during non-visiting hours in situations where the attending physician and the director have agreed it is in the best interest of the patient.
- The Vice President must approve the use of a bed for a visitor who wishes to stay overnight.
Please note: To provide the best possible patient care, Blue Mountain Health System reserves the right to suspend, extend, or limit visiting.

Immediate family only is permitted depending on the patient's condition.
Monday - Friday 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Weekends & major holidays: 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. |
