Thursday, September 21, 2017
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Multipurpose Room Palmerton Campus
135 Lafayette Ave.
Join us if you’ve been thinking that it’s time to do something about your weight, but you’re not sure if surgery is the answer; if you’re pre-op in the journey of bariatric weight loss surgery, but still have questions or concerns or if you’re post-op from bariatric weight loss surgery and want a supportive group close to home. If you’ve had bariatric weight loss surgery and are experiencing regain—please come to the meeting. Education, ongoing motivation, peer support and accountability are some of the benefits you’ll receive when you join the group.
Attending a support group is helpful for long term weight management. One of the most important benefits support groups can offer you is the realization that you are not alone. Studies show that being surrounded by others who have experienced similar weight issues and working closely with those who share similar health and weight loss goals as you, can significantly help the weight loss efforts of the entire group.
Upcoming dates: Sept. 21 at 1 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room at the Palmerton Campus, Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. in the Community Room at the Gnaden Campus, Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. in the 3rd Floor Conference Room at the Palmerton Campus and Dec. 11 at 6 p.m. in the Community Room at the Gnaden Campus.
